Fellow Member Off To Iraq

Spc. Matthew J. Accorsi deployed on September 22^nd with the 656^th Signal Company, 56^th Stryker Brigade, 28^th Infantry Div.,
PA Army National Guard, to Camp Shelby, Mississippi. They flew out of the Arnold Palmer (Latrobe) Regional Airport in a Boeing 737.
They will have advanced combat training for about 4 months at Camp Shelby, 2 more months in Louisiana, then ship to Northern Iraq.
They hope to get home for a few days at Christmas time. We will keep everyone posted on news as we get it.
Your prayers for their safe return will be greatly appreciated.

Indoor Flying!
Foamy season has begun.
The first two flying dates for the RMU Sports Dome
in Neville Island are set.

They are:
SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 15 ………. 6:45pm until 9:45pm
&
SATURDAY, DECEMBER 13 ………… 6:45pm until 9:45pm

More dates are being scheduled.


Review of our simple rules:

·        Airplanes must weigh 14 ounces or less WITH battery

·        No helis, Zaggies, Jets

·        Li-po batteries must be charged in a protective safety receptacle

·        $20 charge to paid at the door … child 10 years or younger accompanied and supervised by parent pilot $10.
